The handles

Oven safe to 260°C, both the long side handles and easy-grip helper handles are designed for increased comfort, balance, and control. Each handle is securely fixed with solid stainless steel rivets.
 

The lids

3-ply Stainless Steel features a sleek, contemporary lid with a generously-sized loop handle for easy lifting even when using oven gloves. Stainless Steel Cooking Tips

Use these expert tips to help you get the most from your Le Creuset stainless steel cookware:

Thanks to the range’s excellent heat conduction and retention properties, only low to medium heat settings need to be used.

When cooking in an uncoated pan, add enough oil, butter, or fat to cover the base.

For searing or stir-frying, start with a medium to higher heat setting, but once the food is added, turn down the heat. Never allow the oil/fat to become smoking-hot.
 

Caring for your Stainless Steel Cookware

Le Creuset multi-ply stainless steel cookware is easy to wash by hand but is also dishwasher-safe if preferred. After cooking, allow the pan to cool completely. Wash in hot soapy water with a non-abrasive cleaning pad, rinse and dry thoroughly.
For stubborn stains or food residue, soak in warm soapy water for about 10 minutes. A proprietary stainless steel cleaner can also be used occasionally to maximise the shine on your cookware or remove any hard water deposits..
