1.1 Who we are. This Website is operated by Le Creuset New Zealand Limited a company registered in New Zealand with NZCN 4579796 (NZBN 9429030111684) and whose registered office is at Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Auckland Ltd, 9th Floor, 45 Queen Street, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand. (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 How to contact us. You can contact us by telephoning our Customer Service team on the NZ freephone line 0800 52 69 74, open from Monday - Friday, 11am - 7pm, or, by email on customerservices.nz@lecreuset.com.
1.3 "Consumer"A natural person who is acting outside the scope of an economy activity trade, business, craft, liberal profession.
1.4 How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.
1.5 "Writing" includes emails. When we use the words "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes emails.
1.6 "Website" means the Le Creuset Website www.lecreuset.co.nz
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to the ordering, purchase, fulfilment and delivery of products from our Website by a consumer and for a domestic use. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before placing your order with us. You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions when you submit an online order with us. Each order you place will be a separate and binding agreement between you and us with respect to the supply of products, in accordance with these terms and conditions.
2.2 The products sold by Le Creuset on our Website are not for resale. If you are a professional who intends to purchase for resale please contact as at: marketing.au@lecreuset.com
2.3 By placing an order on our Website it shall be regarded as an offer to purchase products under these terms and conditions.
2.4 After you place an order, you may receive an e-mail from us to acknowledge that we have received your order with a summary of the products selected, the delivery details provided and payment method. Please note that receipt of this email does not mean that your order has been accepted by us.
2.5 Your order is accepted and a contract is created between you and us when we have dispatched the products which you ordered and Le Creuset have sent a confirmation of dispatch email to you.
All orders are subject to acceptance by us and availability of the product. If we are unable to supply you with a product(s), due to an error (for example the product is no longer in stock or available or a description error on our Website), we will inform you that your order has been rejected and will not be processed. If you have already paid for the order, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.
3.1 We take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate; thus we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions in the products description.
3.2 Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.

3.4 Stock availability. Stock availability will be shown on the Website, and whilst while we endeavour to ensure products are always available, there may be times when products will be temporarily out of stock. In these instances, there is an option that can be selected to be included on a waiting list and you will be emailed when the product is back in stock.
4.1 Prices include GST but not delivery costs. All prices as displayed on our Website, except in the case of error, will be in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST at the prevailing rate, but excludes delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due. The applicable delivery costs will be clearly displayed during the checkout process.
4.2 What happens if we get the price wrong. Despite our best efforts, it is always possible that a pricing error on our Website may occur. If the product you ordered was incorrectly priced, we will normally, at our discretion, either (i) contact you and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or (ii) cancel the order, or (iii) reject your order and notify you of the rejection. Orders will not be accepted if there is a pricing error.
4.3 Price changes. Prices are subject to change without notice. Any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price, but changes will not affect your order, it being understood that the price of the product is the price on the day of the order.
4.4 When you must pay and how you must pay. We will not charge your credit or debit card until we dispatch your order. We accept payment with the following credit or debit cards: Visa and MasterCard. Non-New Zealand credit card providers and banks will determine the exchange rates to be applied and may add an additional processing or administration charge in relation to such payments which non-New Zealand card holders will be liable to pay. By submitting an order to us through our site, you are confirming that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct. All transactions will be in New Zealand dollars.
We also accept payment via PayPal, but please note that if you wish to pay for your products using PayPal, and you do not already have an existing PayPal account, you will be required to set up a new account with PayPal directly. Any order placed using PayPal will be charged at the time your order is submitted. If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, this charge will be credited back to your PayPal account. We may also accept payment with Afterpay. This option, if offered, is offered by Afterpay with which you will directly agree the terms of the payment. You’ll be redirected to Afterpay to complete your order. Afterpay will process your personal data according to Afterpay privacy policy.
We do not accept cash, cheques, gift cards or vouchers as payment for purchase online.
5.1 Delivery information and costs. Orders from the New Zealand website can only be delivered to postal addresses in New Zealand (residential addresses and business addresses). Delivery is FREE for all orders over $100.00, otherwise a flat rate of $10.00 applies to all orders within New Zealand. Delivery will be made by our nominated delivery agent, New Zealand Post, to the delivery address within New Zealand that you nominate during the checkout process. Most orders are processed and dispatched to our delivery agent within 1-2 business days of the order being placed.

Please note that business days are 9am – 5pm NZST, Monday to Friday, but exclude public holidays. Every effort will be made to meet these delivery timescales, but this cannot be guaranteed in some parts of New Zealand.
All deliveries must be accepted in person and signed for. If you are not personally available to accept delivery from our delivery agent, you may appoint a representative to do so in your place. The representative must be over 16 years of age and capable of receiving delivery on your behalf, and you agree that we will be entitled to rely on the representative's instructions as if they were your own.
On delivery, the delivery agent may require you or your nominated representative to provide them with proof of identity, such as photo identification or proof of age. We may not make delivery of the products if the person receiving the products is unable or unwilling to provide satisfactory evidence of proof of identity or age. Where delivery cannot take place due to insufficient identification, a calling card will be left for you to collect the products from a local New Zealand Post office. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions stated on the calling card.
You or your nominated representative may be requested by the delivery agent to sign a delivery manifest to confirm that the delivery has taken place. If you refuse to sign the delivery document, this will be taken as a refusal to accept the delivery. Where re-delivery is required because of refusal to accept delivery, you may be required to pay any associated fees for re-delivery.
If there is no-one available at the delivery address to accept delivery, or there is limited access to the delivery address or it is unsafe or impractical to make delivery, a calling card will be left for you to collect the products from a local New Zealand Post office. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions stated on the calling card.
5.2 In any case, you must notify the carrier and Le Creuset within 2 business days of delivery of the reservations. If you do not notify us of any damage to goods within this time frame or are unable to provide us with photographic evidence to support your claim, the products will be deemed to have been delivered to you intact and without transit damage, subject always to any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer laws . Risk and title in the goods passes to you on the date and time of delivery of the product.
6.1 Right of withdrawal. We want to guarantee the total satisfaction of our customers. If you are not satisfied with the item ordered, you have the right to cancel any order you have placed as set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy on our website here (except for any products made to your specification or personalised)
6.2 Exclusions from change of mind policy. The following is excluded from the change of mind policy:
  • Clearance and outlet products cannot be returned for change of mind.
  • Products purchased during a gift-with-purchase promotion must be returned with those additional items. If the items are not returned, the value of the items will be deducted from the credit.
  • Shipping charges to return the product back to us are non-refundable with the exception of damaged products or, as indicated below, for the defective products.
What happens if you receive the wrong order or the product is damaged on receipt of delivery. Please contact us on 0800 52 69 74, open from Monday - Friday, 11am - 7pm, or by email at customerservices.nz@lecreuset.com. We will then establish the reason for the return and send you an email including your related case number and if appropriate the return procedure and address information.
8.1 How do I return the product. If we have requested the product to be returned, you must return the entire product - undamaged in the event you received the wrong order - in the original product packaging including accessories, the care and use booklet and all labels and also the original dispatch note.
8.2 We also cannot be held responsible for packages that are not returned to us, so we recommend that you use a traceable and insured service to return products to us.
8.3 Will I receive a refund. If we find that the product is not as ordered or is damaged, we will refund the price paid for your product to the method of payment you used . If the reason for the return is not due to a product which is not as ordered or which is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse to accept the returned product or to refund the purchase price paid.
Most Le Creuset products come with a guarantee which is in addition to your legal rights. Le Creuset acknowledges that its exchange and return policies do not in any way override Le Creuset’s obligations in relation to any statutory warranties and conditions which are implied into the supply of any Le Creuset product, and consumers guarantees under New Zealand consumer laws are not affected. From the time of delivery, the guarantee covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal, domestic conditions and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. If you have any questions or complaints about the product, please contact us. You can telephone our Customer Service team on 0800 52 69 74 open from Monday-Friday 11am-7pm, or contact the Customer Service team by email customerservices.nz@lecreuset.com, giving the maximum details of your problem. You can also attach photos and/or videos. It is important to keep your receipt /invoice as it will be asked to you.
11.1 We shall not be liable for any indirect losses you may suffer, including any loss of profit, income or anticipated savings as a result of our failure to comply with these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way that would be unlawful to do so, including for death or person injury caused by our negligence. We are not liable for any business losses. If products purchased from the Website are for commercial, business or re-sale purposes, we have no liability to you for any losses including any loss profit, income or revenue, anticipated savings, business, contracts, data, time or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
11.2 These terms and conditions constitute the entire terms on which we will provide products to you and cancel and supersedes all prior arrangements and representations, whether verbal or written.
11.3 Le Creuset acknowledges that its exchange and return policies do not in any way override Le Creuset’s obligations in relation to any statutory warranties and conditions which are implied into the supply of any Le Creuset product, and consumers guarantees under New Zealand consumer laws are not affected.
11.4 If any one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions should be held by any court to be unenforceable, such provision shall be validly restated to as nearly as possible approximate the intent of the clause and, if such clause cannot be restated for any reason, shall be severable from these terms and deleted.
11.5 You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any person without our prior written consent. No third party shall be entitled to enforce any of these terms whatsoever whether.
11.6 All notices given by you to us must be sent to our registered address Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Auckland Ltd, 9th Floor, 45 Queen Street, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when placing an order.
11.7 We do not sell to minors. If you are under 18 years old you cannot buy on-line Le Creuset products unless you are supervised by your parents or other adults with responsibility for you.
12.1 All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of products from our website shall be in English and construed and governed according to New Zealand law and the New Zealand courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in all such matters.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring safe and secure online shopping. We use your personal data to complete your online purchase of the product and providing additional services (after-sale services, the prevention of fraud, the management of returns).
Only with your consent, we may also process your personal data to send you personalized marketing communications. How we may use your personal information and our policy relating to privacy and the use of cookies is set out in here in our privacy policy and cookies policy. Before to proceed with the payment during the purchase page it will be requested to accept the present Le Creuset online sales terms and our privacy policy. At the end of the purchase on our websites or at one of Le Creuset boutiques stores or Le Creuset Designer outlets:
(i) We might invite you by email to write a product review and share your experience;
(ii) Your are also free to leave an opinion on the product page of our web site (in this case you can also adhere if you have purchased our product at one of our authorized retailer): you will find a section “leave a review” which you can optionally fill in. The follow terms shall apply.
Our goal is to gather opinions of our customers, positive or negative. Do not post any advertising or commercial contents, or use our Websites to perform any commercial activity. Do not post offensive or inappropriate contents. Le Creuset is not responsible for user contents posted on our Websites, although we reserve the right to remove inappropriate contents in our sole discretion.
You will write the review as purchaser/ user of one of Le Creuset product or if someone has gifted a Le Creuset product to us.
Contents are owned by you, but when you post a review on our Websites, you license it to Le Creuset. By posting a review, you understand that you grant a non-exclusive, perpetual (at least for the duration of the protection of the applicable intellectual property rights), transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the contents that you post on our Websites, for any purpose, including commercial use, and including the right to create derivative works, translate, reproduce, display, distribute, or modify the contents, and sublicense or assign these rights.
Your review can be visible from other platforms, such as search engines and on social media. Your review will be visible until removed. After publication, you can contact Le Creuset by emailing customerservices.nz@lecreuset.com to remove your review. You understand that the removed contents my persist on our systems or other platforms to the extent your contents have been publicly posted and may be accessed by or shared with other users or third parties who have not deleted them.
