Use the sizing guide below to help you select the ideal casserole size. If in doubt, the 24cm Signature Round is our most popular casserole for a reason – perfectly sized for 4-5 portions and fits inside all standard home ovens.

How to Measure Casseroles Sizes

Our casserole sizes are determined by the diameter from rim to rim. The capacity is indicated in litres. Before you buy, make sure it fits your:

  • Cabinet or oven space: Measure the length, including the handles, and height with the lid and knob included.

  • Serving size: The capacity (indicated at the bottom of the casserole) determines how large the serving can be. Servings are approximate and may vary depending on the recipe, ingredients and portion sizes.

How to Choose a Frying Pan Size

When choosing a frying pan size, aim to prevent overcrowding of ingredients. A 20–24cm pan works well if you usually cook for yourself or one other person, depending on the recipe. For meal prepping or family cooking, choose a 26–28cm pan or larger.

How to Measure Frying Pan Sizes

Our frying pans sizes are determined by the diameter measured from rim to rim. Consider how large you need the depth of the sides and width of the pan to be.

  • Depth: A shallow frying pan is better for sauteing items in small amounts of oil, while the deep sides of a deep frying pan offer more capacity for frying in bulk.

  • Width: A wider base of the pan provides a larger cooking surface for frying and promotes crispier results, while a smaller base is better suited for simmering or cooking smaller portions.

How to Choose an Oven Tray or Roaster Size

Before purchasing roasters and oven trays, check your oven's internal measurements and select the smallest roaster that meets your needs. A tray with a surface area that's too big can cause juices to burn. If it’s too small, overcrowding can cause uneven cooking.

How to Measure Tray & Roaster Sizes

Our oven tray and roaster sizes are determined by the length, handles excluded. When looking at sizes, take the following into account:

·     Handles: If the roaster has handles, take these into consideration when finding a roaster that fits your oven.

·     Depth: If you are roasting juicy ingredients, like leg of lamb, opt for a deeper roaster to prevent spills.

·     Surface: Consider portion size and your favourite recipes when selecting an oven tray or roaster.
